It's the beginning of the month again! It's time to set new goals. Here's how you can succeed month after month.

S.M.A.R.T GOALS

S.M.A.R.T. is an acronym for:

  • Specific
  • Measurable
  • Attainable
  • Realistic
  • Time-Sensitive

Be sure your goals include all of the above. Otherwise, there's a good chance you won't achieve them.

Specific, Measureable & Attainable

Be sure your goals are specific, measurable & attainable:

Say this out loud:

"I will run 1 mile, 3 days per week, for the entire month of June."

You've just made a specific, measurable & attainable goal.

Relative & Time Sensitive

Make sure your goals are relevant to you and include a timeline.  

"I will add one quarter to run each week." Is both a relative and time sensitive goal. 

Achieving any type of goal, whether it is fitness, work or personal in nature, is difficult. Keep your goals as specific, personal and relevant as possible and you will have great success! Good luck!
